WHAT IS A COMPANION DOG?

Companion dog is a dog that does not work but provides companionship as a pet rather than doing any specific tasks. Dogs are treated as companions because of their friendly nature and high level of obedience. Puppies while growing up are fun to play and for their innocent antics. Pure breed dogs are high in intelligence and obedience due their breed traits. They make very good companions because they pick up lots of habits from us. They love their human family.

Mixed breed also make good companions, they are known as street dogs and are known to be sociable and friendly.
